Pastor Russell Sauls 1965 - 1971 | | Faith Baptist Church of Milton, Florida was founded on Sunday July 27, 1965 by Pastor Clifford Russell Sauls.
Pastor Sauls and twenty other people met together to worship God and to start a New Testament, local church. Meetings were first held in the First Nation Bank Community Building on Willing Street. A short time later, property was purchased for Faith Baptist Church.
Faith Baptist Church is now located at 6423 Hamilton Bridge Road, Milton, Florida 32570. Under Pastor Sauls' Leadership, the By - Laws and Articles of Faith were completed and approved August 4, 1965, and the church was granted a Charter by the State of Florida in November, 1965. Pastor Sauls firmly stood on the principles found in the Word of God - which he taught each Sunday from the Authorized King James Version until September 1971, when he resigned due to ill health. |
