THE MEETINGS:
The Ladies of Faith meet every Thursday at 6:00 PM for a time of prayer. Our Ladies pray for over forty missionaries which our church supports.
WHAT GOES ON?
Prayer is given for the missionaries and newsletters are read. After prayer is given for each missionary by name, special prayer is also given for any additional needs that the missionaries may have mentioned in their newsletters.
THE CARDS:
Every year the Ladies of Faith sends out hundreds of cards to our missionary families such as birthday, anniversary, get well, and some times just a little encouragement. Every missionary Lady that our church supports will receive letters from our Ladies. The Ladies of Faith's Missionary Prayer Letter Service is known for being Faithful.
THE QUILTS:
Our Ladies prepare alot for our annual Mission Conference. They sacrifice both time and money so that they may be able to be a blessing to some missionay. One of the blessings that the Ladies of Faith are known for is their Quilts. Every month a new quilt is completed, and at the beginning of the year they are presented to missionaries during our Mission Conference.
THE MISSION CLOSET:
The Ladies of Faith are in charge of collecting both money and gifts to help stock our Mission Closet. These items are collected every month on a Mission Emphasis Sunday.
MISSION EMPHASIS SUNDAY:
Every third Sunday of the month is set aside for mission emphasis. Below is a list of the Mission Emphasis Items that will be featured each month. |
